In conversation with Steve Lee from N2 Group

Here at Brand iQ we work with several different commercial printers who are part of the Brand iQ Partner Programme. 

 
Recently, we sat down and spoke with Steve Lee from N2 Group to find out a little bit more about the company. 
 
“My name is Steve Lee and I’m the Managing Director at N2 Group. 
 
“I began my career here as a trainee in 1981 and over the past 40 years I’ve worked in all areas of the business. A big part of my role these days is maintaining and developing all our internal systems, IT infrastructure and workflows.”
 
“The company was originally formed back in 1974 as a partnership, offering print and design. Over 40 years later, we now offer a full creative service, small and large format digital print, merchandise, stock and fulfilment and the Brand iQ platform.
 
“N2 Digital Media was originally created to help service our existing clients,” says Steve. 
 
“We had tried off the shelf web to print systems, but we couldn’t find anything that suited us or our clients best. 
 
“It was then that we decided to look at creating our own system.” 
 
The work initially began on the new software system over 10 years ago. In 2015, N2 Digital Media rebranded themselves as Brand iQ (that’s us!)
 
“What Brand iQ has created is amazing and now runs a lot of our main workflow from design through to despatch.”
 
N2 Group have introduced the Brand iQ software to many of their existing clients, whilst gaining new customers through recommendations.
 
“We feel there is a place for Brand iQ in most companies, with existing case studies and demonstrations we show that we can help streamline many of the day-to-day processes companies face to let them concentrate on their core business activities.”
 
One of N2’s projects was with The Scouts Association back in 2018.
 
They were looking for a rebrand of their organisation and with the help of Brand iQ, this was rolled out to over 7,000 Scout groups across the United Kingdom. 
 
A logo generator was created along with templates for all their signage, print items and even downloadable PDFs. 
 
During the first three months of this contract, N2 Group processed over 9,500 orders for the Scouts. 
 
The team at N2 are looking ahead to what’s next within their business after a whirlwind 18 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
“We have recently invested in our large format department which continues to grow, and we are always looking at ways to make us more efficient,” says Steve.
 
“Our goal is for the company to continue to become more automated as a whole.  We’d also like to get more of our existing clients onto the Brand iQ platform, to help speed up our workflow.
 
“Brand iQ has become a major part of what our company offers to our clients and we’re very proud to be part of that journey.”
